Finally sitting!

Finally sitting for a minute.. let me tell you, we have been in this new house for just over 1 month and I am still not even full unpacked! LOL I haven't scrapped anything lately but am hoping to possibly sit in my office and scrap tonight!  I have my desk all set up, just have to find some scrapbook worthy pics (which I know I have TONS) , make some capuccino, and scrap!


I know I have some pics of Jessa in her new "do" too. She decided she needed bangs, so she now has bangs! LOL

I swear she is just beautiful! I know I am her mom, so my opinion may be slightly biased, but come on, I am soo right! LOL



OH! I knew I forgot to post something! Here is one picture of  the new house! The livingroom obviously, only because it's the only room I am close to being done with! LOL and yes.. if you look closely, you can see Rosie, one of our Pitty's, sleeping on the carpet lol The perfect touch!

I have to say, a phone call was received tonight, and I swear, you think after 10 years of bullshit and drama, people would just learn to keep their mouths shut. All that matters is that the kids are taken care of (which they are, very well infact, (not spoiled rotten little brats like some) and that we are happy.. Which we are! So to you, and I know you read and mark everything down to run your mouth about.. I am so flattered after 10 years, you are still following, reading, stalking and crying about EVERY little thing that has to do with ME, MY FAMILY, and MY life.. but seriously darling, you really should spend more time trying to find something to fulfill your pathetic little life since obviously your home life, does not do it for ya.

Sorry for that little bit of nonsense but something just had to be said.

On that note. I am gonna go check on dinner- get the kids fed, and get them bathed and ready for school tomorrow. Once they are in bed I am determined to sit and scrap for a while, so maybe I will have something new to share later tonight or even tomorrow!!

Happy Birthday Jessa!!!!

Oh my! Yesterday was such a hard day for me! My baby girl Jessa turned 7 yesterday!! She is growing up so fast it is unbelievable!  I am so proud of my little girl! Growing in leaps and bounds and totally overcoming her Autism. Autism doesn't have her, she has Autism and that makes her who she is!

Any who.. Here is my layout that I did with a picture of my official 7 year old!!! Isn't she beautiful!

 I love the way it came out! It's clean, and simple! I have some things to do today, but I do have more pics to use and scrap with. So once I am finished and I have some more free time I will definitely be scrapping today!

Been A LONG day!!!

Hi all! Been a long day here, and yet some how, I am still up!

So my 13 year old daughter, Ilanna, is currently in New York, visiting her dad. Today it was decided that I will be driving up to PA to pick her up. So I am leaving July 31 to go to Pennsylvania. Jessa, Ashley, Leandra, Rosie and Bella will be going with me. We will be staying at my moms house for a few days and then returning home.

Ran some errands today, and cooked yet another crock pot meal.. Sausage and potatoes. Ended up making them into delicious sandwiches! Finally got Bella trained to the point where she can walk with out a leash when we go outside. She IS leash trained but it is good to know if she follows us out the door, she does not go more than 3 feet away from us, and the minute you say Bella, HOME, she goes right to our house.

I did get some more scrapbooking done today.! Go me! This is the most scrapbooking I have done in a long time!!!

Here is a layout I did using photos I did for a 2 week old photo shoot of my little Ashley! I still can not believe my little Ashley Elizabeth is 1 year old!!

Here is the second layout I  did. My Jessa! In just 2 and a half days she will be 7!! UNREAL!!!!

This is one of several cards I through together to let some friends and family know we have moved and to give them our new address!!

I am so tired, yet I am not sleepy enough to fall asleep. I do think I am going to maybe go  out for a walk.  I will be bringing my  Bella with me! Rosie is  already sound asleep on Natalias bed WITH Natalia! LOL 

Tomorrow I do not really have much going on. I am thinking about trying to update my blog a little (info that I have on it). Other than that I will pretty much be lounging around with the kids.

1st Post

So, this is my first post on this new blog. My old blog, www.scrappinmylife.com was deleted by accident and apparently there is no way to get it back so I am starting fresh! Starting fresh with a new blog also brings a new blog name! I like it.. snaps (because I like photography) and scraps (because I like scrapbooking)..and together, that makes Snaps & Scraps!

So far this year there are lots of things going on; I never really updated on my old blog, but I will start off with the end of last year.

*December 2012- I got custody of my 12 year old, so now I officially have ALL 6 of my kids with me.
*February 4- 2013- We bought a new SUV, 2008 Mercury Mariner Premier
*March 2013- we started looking to purchase our first home


Now with all that happening, there is more. Like Jessa's IEP meetings,  doctors appointments for Jessa's ears and for other things, other meetings, and home schooling (Leandra and Ilanna), life has been so very busy.

Hubby was nominated and accepted  for an award from  Martial Arts History Museum. So he and I get to go out to California in September for the awards ceremony. We are  not 100 percent sure, but I do think we will be trying to stay out there for 4 or 5 days.

April 14th we were invited to go to an Asian film festival down toward Orlando so we will be going to that too.

There have been some downs too but honestly, all the goods outweigh the bad so I cant even remember anything bad at the moment lol
